Clear AT privacy policy

Clear AT collects no data. There is no server.

Your Bluesky app passwords and session tokens are stored in your browser's local extension storage, on your machine only. They are sent exclusively to the Bluesky/AT Protocol servers that host your own accounts, to fetch your notifications — never to us, never to anyone else. We couldn't read them if we wanted to; there is nothing on our end to receive them.

Your feed list, notification filters, and read/unread state are stored in your browser's extension sync storage, which your browser (Google or Mozilla, per their policies) syncs between your own devices.

The extension contacts only: the AT Protocol servers for accounts you add, the public Bluesky AppView (to resolve handles, post text, and avatars), and the RSS/YouTube feed URLs you add yourself. No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking of any kind.

Donations are processed by Stripe on clearat.app; the extension itself never handles payment and doesn't know whether you've donated beyond a flag you set yourself.
